SafePlace gears up for 7th annual Morning Ascent Breakfast

SafePlace is excited to announce the 7th annual breakfast event will be held Friday, October 1, 2010, from 7:30-8:45 a.m.

Hosted at Indian Summer Golf and Country Club, this is our signature fundraising event. In 2009, sponsors and guests raised nearly $40,000 to support services for survivors of sexual and domestic violence, including major sponsorship from the Lucky Eagle Casino. Former Miss Washington and keynote speaker Elyse Umemoto inspired the audience with her story of survival, reminding those in attendance how violence truly impacts the entire community.
